Mr. Behzad Farahani's journey began in the vibrant and ancient city of Tehran, where he received his high school diploma in mathematics in 1968. Armed with a strong mathematical background, Mr. Farahani has carved a remarkable journey that transcended geographical and disciplinary boundaries across various fields, establishing himself as a self-taught polymath.

Mr. Farahani pursued early university training in mathematics, physics, and structural engineering. However, his insatiable curiosity and diverse interests led him to switch his focus to international business transactions, laying the foundation for a multifaceted career.
 

Mr. Farahani's expertise spans an impressive array of disciplines. As an astrophysicist, architect, furniture designer, painter, sculptor, musician, chef, antiquarian, and computer programmer, he has demonstrated a unique ability to master complex and varied subjects. His work in each field reflects a deep understanding and creative approach that is the hallmark of his career.

Professional Achievements

Beyond his academic pursuits, Mr. Farahani is an international entrepreneur with substantial accomplishments in numerous fields. His current focus includes luxury commercial and residential real estate development, energy infrastructure projects, global political business risks evaluation and mitigation, global investigative due diligence services and the purchase and sale of commodities on an international basis.

Mr. Farahani founded Art & Science International, Inc. in 1995. He serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greenwich-based company. He has been involved in designing and building luxury residential and commercial projects internationally since 1974. Mr. Farahani has designed and been involved in the construction of shopping centers, amphitheaters, satellite cities, luxury estates and compounds. Mr. Farahani has designed and built on spec some of the largest and most expensive mansions sold in the United States. He designed and built the most expensive mansions in the history of the United States on speculation in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA.

 

Mr. Farahani is US Equity Partners Holding’s (USEPH) acting President and Chief Executive Officer. USEPH is a full-service energy infrastructure and commodity trading company registered in Delaware and Connecticut and headquartered in Greenwich Connecticut, USA.

 

Throughout his career, Mr. Farahani has been involved in the design, construction, and management of various nightclubs and restaurants. His expertise in creating inviting and dynamic spaces has made him a sought-after consultant in the industry.
In 2006, Mr. Farahani founded InterCuisine, LLC, a food production company that stands as a testament to his innovative spirit and entrepreneurial drive. As the managing member of InterCuisine, he has steered the company towards success, ensuring that it adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Mr. Farahani's creative talents were not limited to the intellectual domain. He also explored various forms of artistic expression, including painting, music, and sculpture. Mr. Farahani is a philanthropist and founded the Behzad Farahani Foundation in 2004, dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children in the United States and abroad, and to assist teachers. He has contributed countless hours of service on the advisory boards for a wide range of organizations. The Behzad Farahani foundation focuses primarily in assisting orphanages.
